David K Holt is an author, printmaker and painter living in New Paltz, NY and Boca Raton FL. After a Career as an Art teacher and professor of education, he published a book on Aesthetics entitled, " THE SEARCH FOR AESTHETIC MEANING IN THE VISUAL ARTS (Bergin&Garvey 2001}. and created prints and paintings. His prints  have been included in many national shows including, Boston Printmakers North American Print Biennial, American Print Alliances (3 year), Theater of the mind Traveling Exhibition, Silvermine National Print Exhibition, Florida Printmakers National Exhibition, among others. In 2004, he won third prize in the American Artists Magazine Painting Competition.  David K Holt's work is in the collection of the Amity Art Foundation, Inc., the Woodstock Artists Association, the Albany Print Club and many private collections. He has had solo shows at the Woodstock Artists Association(2), ASK Gallery, Karpeles Manuscript Museum, and the Edward Hopper House Museum.
