Updates apply to Utah 蜜豆视频 schools only effective March 16

Parents,

As you may have heard, today, the State Superintendent announced that all K-12 schools will be on a 2-week 鈥dismissal鈥 status. The following is some detail on what this means!

1.Our schools will be open, but students will not attend school. Staff will be at the schools. If a student needs to come to the school to collect materials or belongings, that will be possible. Please watch for an email from your campus that outlines the hours the school will be open for students to come in to pick up items. If students do come into the school, they need to be supervised by a parent or guardian. Students should not be dropped off at the school.
2.Monday and Tuesday, our staff will be meeting in small groups to prepare online lessons in what we are calling our 鈥淟earning From Home鈥 program. Please be watching for emails and information from your campus and your specific teachers.
3.Wednesday: By Wednesday, all students will need to be able to log on to a device from home and begin their 鈥淟earning From Home鈥 program. Parents should plan on their children being engaged in school each day, for much of the school day. We realize this will be a big change! We anticipate that our students from about grade 5 and up will be able to manage much of this independently, and that is our goal. However, it will be VITAL that students have a parent or guardian to ENSURE that students are logging on EACH DAY and completing their school work. Assignments will be due, and graded, just like regular school. And students will be 鈥渁bsent鈥 if they don鈥檛 log into school each day.
4.It is our hope that our system works seamlessly and perfectly! But, of course, we know that won鈥檛 be the case. As a brand new program that we are building as we go, there will be hiccups and 鈥渂umps in the road鈥. We know all of our amazing 鈥渂uilder鈥 staff members and families and students will make this a successful venture! We are excited about what we will learn and how this could impact our education delivery in the future! We appreciate your input and assistance by communicating clearly and patiently with your child鈥檚 teacher or administrator.
5.For those who would like to receive school lunches, you will need to REORDER lunch. You can do so by going here: . You may also order lunch by contacting lunch@apamail.org or calling 801-810-3590 ext 3 during business hours (English or Spanish). Lunches will be picked via a drive-through system at each campus from 11 am to 1 pm.
6.Special Education students may receive an email from your case manager outlining any special services plans. If you have any concerns regarding your child鈥檚 special education services during this time, please email your child鈥檚 case manager.
7.You will be receiving a survey via email regarding your family鈥檚 technology resources. Thank you for filling that out as soon as you can, but at the latest by Sunday evening.

We will provide updates and more information as needed. Thank you for all of your support, and we hope you and your families enjoy this extended time together. We also hope you can all remain healthy! Please reach out to your campus administrators with specific questions.

Padres de la

Proporcionaremos actualizaciones y m谩s informaci贸n seg煤n sea necesario.
